The grand finale of our enriching Korean workshop at IHM Pusa concluded in style with a spectacular Hansik day. It was a day filled with the vibrant essence of Korean culture and cuisine. Students immersed themselves in the world of Korean food and traditions, experiencing everything from kimchi to the art of traditional Korean sweets. Hansik day was not just a lunch but a journey to Korea, celebrating the rich flavors and heritage that make Korean cuisine so special. It was a fitting end to a journey of discovery and learning about this fascinating culinary tradition. In the spirit of gratitude, IHM Pusa also extends heartfelt thanks to Chef Minyoung Park, whose unwavering dedication made this culinary journey possible. We hope she enjoyed her time at IHM Pusa and in India.

Regional Cuisine Month

IHM Pusa conducted a masterclass by Chef Manjit Gill on Mughlai cuisine for the ongoing Regional Cuisine Month.

A culinary luminary, Chef Manjit Gill, graced IHM PUSA with his expertise during our regional cuisine month. As part of the Ministry of Tourism’s initiative to showcase regional delicacies, Chef Gill conducted a captivating masterclass on Mughlai cuisine.

A Joyful Reunion of the remarkable Alumni of IHM PUSA was held on 27th June which was graced by the presence of IHM PUSA’s notable alumni, Mr. Ashok Kalra and family , where cherished memories were relived and lifelong bonds were renewed, inspiring stories were shared, and the spirit of excellence were celebrated.

International Yoga Day 2023

The International Day of Yoga was celebrated on June 21st. that aimed to raise awareness and benefits of practicing yoga.

CBSE Exposure Visit : CBSE Principals from Pan India united at IHM PUSA

CBSE Principals from Pan India united at IHM PUSA, the Exposure Visit Program Organised by CBSE in collaboration with HEIs where they toured IHM PUSA’s State-of-the-Art Facilities and engaged in dynamic and interactive discussions with the faculties of IHM PUSA.
Mr. LK Ganguli (Director Admn. & Finance, NCHMCT) shared his views how Hotel Management course will be helpful in paving the way for the Integration of Hospitality Management as a Prominent Subject in their CBSE Curriculum and will be encouraging for students to pursue a thriving career in Hospitality Industry.
Mr. Kamal Kant Pant (Principal IHM Pusa) discussed on the topic “Liaisoning Opportunities & Networking with HEIs and Resource Sharing” and the lecture given by Mr. Sharad Nautiyal on the topic of “Upscaling of Skill Education in line with NEP 2020”.

Urja Arpan Conclave

On the occasion of Earth Day the panel discussion on ‘Youth for sustainability’ of 1st Urja Arpan Conclave – creating a movement for social and behavioral change, LiFE by TATA POWER- DDL.

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam : Annual Day 2023

 IHM Pusa observed its 58th Annual Day  “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was address by the Chief Guest, Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Tourism and Ports, Shipping and Waterways of India.  The event was attended by dignitaries from the hospitality industry as well as alumni and students. IHM Pusa’s Principal, Kamal  Kant Pant in his welcome address, spoke about the significance of the theme, highlighting how the hospitality industry brings people together, regardless of their background, culture, or nationality. Annual day began with a cultural program that showcased the diversity and richness of India’s cultural heritage. 
IHM Pusa students stepped up to showcase their achievements in various categories. With awards given to All Rounder students to students who have excelled in specific departments and sports.

Mastering the art of Cocktail making is a dream for every aspiring bartender. And to fulfil this very dream of our Pusa apprentices, IHM organised a captivating cocktail workshop which gave a live demonstration on the various shaking, stirring, blending and muddling techniques.
