Annual Day (AAROHAN) 2025

On Monday, 7th April 2025, IHM Pusa proudly hosted Aarohan 2025, its Annual Day celebration, at the distinguished Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi.

The evening was graced by the presence of Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & CEO, IHCL (Taj Hotels, Resorts & Palaces), as the Chief Guest, along with esteemed representatives from academia, industry, and government.

The event unfolded as a heartfelt tribute to the dedication, creativity, and achievements of the IHM Pusa community. From the Principal’s address and the release of the Pusa Journal and Magazine, to captivating cultural performances and the recognition of excellence through awards, Aarohan 2025 was a reflection of the institute’s enduring values and vibrant spirit.

The celebration culminated with inspiring words from our guests of honour and a shared sense of pride in the journey of every student, faculty member, and stakeholder.

Sports Week

The students of IHM Pusa truly made Sports Week 2025 an event to remember, bringing their unmatched energy and enthusiasm to every event!
Whether it was sprinting on the track, showcasing strength in tug of war, or displaying precision in shot put, their passion and competitive spirit lit up the day.
Their active participation and unwavering support for one another made the event a celebration of unity, teamwork, and sportsmanship. From the cheers on the sidelines to the determination on the field, the students truly embodied the spirit of Sports Week. A huge round of applause to all for making today an unforgettable finale!

India Today Education Conclave

IHM PUSA has once again demonstrated its excellence by winning the prestigious “Best Hotel Management College” award at the India Today Education Conclave. This accolade reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to providing top-tier education, experienced faculty members, and world-class facilities. It prepares students for successful careers in the hospitality industry.

The Induction ceremony

The induction ceremony for MSc. H.A. and Diploma in Food Production at IHM Pusa was a vibrant event, warmly welcomed by students with captivating dance and music performances. The ceremony was further enriched by the insightful addresses of Principal sir and faculty guiding their academic journey.

Plant4Mother

IHM Pusa, under the guidance of our respected Principal and HODs, recently held a heartfelt oath-taking ceremony with our students. In a symbolic gesture of love and gratitude, each student pledged to plant a tree in honour of their mothers under the campaign of ‘Plant4Mother’. To represent protection and care, they tied a thread around each tree, signifying our commitment to nurturing both nature and the bonds that sustain us. This initiative reflects our deep values and dedication to making a positive impact on the environment and our community.

The TRAS

The TRAS (Think Responsibly Act Sustainably)-Eco club of IHM Pusa recently visited ITC Maurya, New Delhi to observe their impressive sustainable practices. The visit included a tour of the hotel’s STP plant (Sewage Treatment Plant), biogas plant, groundwater treatment plant, solar power plant, and hydroponic farming plant. These initiatives reflect ITC Maurya’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable living.
The firsthand experience of seeing these eco-friendly initiatives in action was both educational and inspiring, reinforcing the importance of sustainability in the hospitality industry.

Rashtrapati Bhavan Vimarsh Shrinkhala

the students of IHM Pusa had the unique opportunity to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan and attend the “Rashtrapati Bhavan Vimarsh Shrinkhala” lecture series. Renowned Chef Sanjeev Kapoor delivered an inspiring talk, sharing his remarkable journey and experiences in the culinary world. His words motivated the BSc and diploma students to pursue their passion for cooking, encouraging them to follow in the footsteps of one of India’s most celebrated chefs.

AIIMS Jammu

IHM Pusa proudly led the third day of the comprehensive housekeeping training program at AIIMS Jammu, focusing on advanced methodologies, efficient practices, and modern techniques to elevate hygiene and sanitation standards. The program aimed to empower participants with the knowledge and skills required to ensure a cleaner, safer, and more organized healthcare environment. This collaborative effort highlights the commitment of both institutions towards promoting excellence in facility management and contributing to the overall enhancement of healthcare services.

Freshers 2024

IHM Pusa celebrated Freshers 2024 with a vibrant and nostalgic “Comedy Circus” theme, welcoming the new batch of the 2024 academic session. The event was filled with fun plays, energetic dances, and lively songs, with participants reviving iconic characters and melodies from 2000s Bollywood movies. The atmosphere was one of joy and excitement, as IHM Pusa warmly embraced its freshers, wishing them a memorable journey ahead at the institute.

Collaboration with USDA and Taste of America

IHM Pusa hosted a culinary journey, ‘Trending Traditions’, on 13th September 2024.
In collaboration with USDA and Taste of America, this event put up a distinctive fusion of flavours where the classic allure of Purani Dilli is enhanced by the richness of American nuts where the guests discovered a gastronomic fusion that married traditional Indian street food with creative American ingredients for an indelible experience.

The World of Korean Cuisine

Step into the world of Korean cuisine with the Korean Culinary Journey hosted by Master Chef Jang Yun Jeong On 22nd November, Friday, at IHM Pusa, this exciting event was a part of the Millennial Recipes Reborn initiative in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centre India @koreanculturalcentreindia . A special lecture on Vegan Kimchi Making on Kimchi Day, where the students learned how to prepare this quintessential Korean delicacy with a modern, healthy twist.
Exploring the rich heritage of Korean food and its contemporary adaptations. This was an incredible opportunity to engage with culinary traditions, gain new skills, and savour the artistry of cooking!

Swatchhata Pakhwada

स्वच्छ और हरित परिसर की ओर एक कदम! स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा पहल के तहत, प्रशासनिक ब्लॉक स्वच्छता, स्वास्थ्य और स्थिरता को बढ़ावा देने में अग्रणी भूमिका निभा रहा है। सामूहिक प्रयासों के माध्यम से हम स्वच्छ भारत मिशन में योगदान दे रहे हैं, एक पर्यावरण-अनुकूल वातावरण का निर्माण कर रहे हैं और सभी के लिए स्वच्छ और स्वस्थ भविष्य की नींव रख रहे हैं।
